Just thinking of my mom and her memories lately. This is not an anniversary of her death or anything - just because. For any of you who didn't know Hawaii was my mom's dying wish. Everyone helped her get there along with her children and spouses. We could never thank everyone enough for those last final memories with her. She lived to make it there and passed 4 days after we returned. Trip of a lifetime. Wonderful memories.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our friends and family!
New BabyChristian James Jolley was born November 7 weighing in at 8 lb 13 oz and 21 inches. Now it is 2008. People may wonder why I have waited so long to post this. So after 6 weeks of reflecting on how life can throw the most amazing curve balls I have finally decided to write about his adventures. To make a long story really short, we will just say that after 2 days in the NICU, 1 week of inpatient antibiotics, another ER visit for bloody stools, and yet another overnight stay with many numerous MD visits in between the time has gone extremely fast. It has been a stressful road but am glad to say he is thriving and doing well now. He is so cute, sleeps very well and the other children love him. Now we just wonder how prone he will be to illnesses this winter. Mom is a little paranoid at this point. But I will say my family of 6 feels so good and right. We are so glad he is here.
